The Alternative is a creative magazine that is published at Eastfield College every year. Students submit poetry, art, photography, and short stories into a contest to be featured in the magazine.

We were given the opportunity to design the cover as well as the layout of the work. We selected the piece that featured the word 'Alternative' the best. The typeface was created to go along with the cover. Each letter has 3 copies just like the woman in the picture has 3 hands.

The 2019 version of The Alternative won best in show at the student show in Austin, TX.
